Channika Rowell is an experienced Practice Manager and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA-AAMA) with a strong background in clinical operations, administrative leadership, and patient-centered care. She is a graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program at Augusta Technical College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Services at Augusta State University.
With over 8 years of experience across primary care, health insurance operations, and claims management, Channika brings expertise in practice workflow optimization, EMR systems, scheduling, prior authorizations, referrals, and patient triage. Her clinical experience includes phlebotomy, injections, EKG and PFT testing, CLIA-waived testing, and assisting providers with minor procedures.Channika has held key roles at Center for Primary Care, CVS Health, and WellCare, where she supported providers, coordinated care, processed claims, and led team operations. She is an active member of the American Association of Medical Assistants and formerly served as the CSRA Regional Chapter Secretary. Her leadership approach is rooted in operational excellence, patient advocacy, and team collaboration.
